Grounds Maintenance

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Workers to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-maintained, aesthetically pleasing, and safe for all users.

Duties

• Perform routine lawn care including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain healthy grass and landscapes.
• Execute landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, and mulching to enhance the beauty of the grounds.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal as necessary to ensure safety and aesthetics.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Assist with hardscape projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls to improve outdoor functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in grounds maintenance or a related field is preferred but not essential
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping equipment safely.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
• Must be physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
