Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with hands-on experience using various tools and equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with precision to ensure high-quality results in all welding projects.
Duties
- Perform TIG welding and other types of welding as required, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment effectively to complete tasks.
- Work with sheet metal to create components according to design specifications.
- Assemble parts and products, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail throughout the process.
- Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in TIG welding and general welding techniques.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
