Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Occupational Health Nurse to join our team on a freelance basis. This position involves conducting health assessments, providing patient care, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The Occupational Health Nurse will work collaboratively with management to create a safe and healthy work environment for our clients customers.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and screenings for employees.
• Provide direct patient care,
• Monitor and manage workplace injuries and illnesses, ensuring appropriate follow-up care.
• Educate employees on health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness initiatives.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with safety personnel to identify potential health hazards in the workplace.
• Develop and implement health policies and programmes that promote employee well-being.
• Stay updated on relevant legislation, guidelines, and best practices in occupational health.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid nursing licence.
• Proven experience in occupational health or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess employee health effectively.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to provide compassionate support.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
