Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal components, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our stringent standards. This role requires a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or priming as necessary.
- Operate powder coating equipment and apply coatings evenly to ensure a consistent finish.
- Assemble and fabricate components as required, using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the coating process.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in powder coating or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and hand tools.
- Basic maths skills for measuring and mixing materials accurately.
- Experience in assembly, welding, or fabrication is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and processes is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
