We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team to work on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will support the financial operations of the organisation by assisting with various accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is crucial in helping to streamline financial processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of our finance department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims in a timely manner.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing necessary documentation.
- Perform general administrative duties related to finance, including filing and data entry.
Skills
- Strong numerical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using Sage 50
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is advantageous.
