**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Groundworker to join our clients team based around the Darlington area. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to outdoor maintenance and construction projects.
**Duties:**
– Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and obstacles
– Operate and maintain hand and power tools used in construction and landscaping
– Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth to prepare for construction
– Install landscape elements such as plants, trees, and shrubs
– Assist in the installation of irrigation systems
– Perform general maintenance duties on equipment and tools
**Requirements:**
– Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or related field preferred
– Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely
– Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
– Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for outdoor work environments
– Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
– High school diploma or equivalent preferred
